Toprak Razgatlioglu has once again won the MotoGP World Championship, giving the BMW rider his 14th win of the season.

Toprak Razgatlioglu won the opening race of the weekend in Portimao on Saturday. With two races to go, can Razgatlioglu claim two more wins to make it 13 MotoGP races in a row?

After equaling the record of 11 consecutive MotoGP World Championship wins, Razgatlioglu broke the record. The Turkish rider was hired by BMW to take the bike to the next level. However, the Turkish rider took his bike to the next level as he claimed his 12th consecutive MotoGP World Championship win.

Danilo Petrucci had a better result in the Super Pole. The Italian finished third yesterday, but today he managed to finish second.

British rider Alex Laws is back on the podium again. Laws took his eighth podium of the season and showed a good performance in a battle with Petrucci and Michael van der Mark throughout the Super Pole.

Although his team-mate won again, Van der Mark finished fourth again. In the closing stages of yesterday’s race, Van der Mark dropped down the order, but the ten-lap race allowed the Dutchman to fight for a podium finish.

Despite missing the entire first practice session, rookie Nicolò Bulega managed to secure fifth place in the Super Pole race. Alvaro Bautista finished just behind his young teammate, with the two-time champion finishing sixth.

Honda return to the top ten with Xavi Vergne. The Spaniard and Honda have had a tough season in 2024. However, HRC looked strong this week and will be looking for another top ten finish in race two.

Dominique Eggerter was the best Yamaha rider in the Super Pole. The Swiss rider had a poor 2024 but had a good performance in Portimao.

Andrea Iannone is second in the Super Pole. The Italian has struggled this week on a relatively new track on his Ducati Panigale V4 R.

All other British competitors in the race finished outside the points. Jonathan Rea failed to score points, finishing in tenth place. Scott Redding and Bradley Rae finished outside the top fifteen, finishing in seventeenth and eighteenth places.
