This is the moment China unveiled a terrifying humanoid robot with terrifying acrobatic skills and an “owl-like” waist.
The lifelike robot – called PM01 – mimics human movement and can rotate its waist 320 degrees.
It promises to be more agile and quicker than previous models too – with a top speed of 4.5mph.
Designed to walk with a natural gait, it looks more human-like than ever before.
The robot has been developed by Chinese company EngineAI and will be available to buy early next year for around £9,500.
It is currently targeting businesses, researchers, and developers.
“Our goal is to make robotics technology truly serve humanity,” Zhao Tongyang, founder and CEO of EngineAI Robotics, said in a statement.
“Through continuous deepening of technological innovation and market expansion, we aim to bring intelligent embodied robots to every aspect of life.”
The impressive machine is 4.5 feet long and weighs 40 kilograms, making it shorter than previous designs.
It includes a “high-capacity” battery that lasts up to two hours before needing to be charged.
An army of robotic servants is being built in China to do laundry and other household chores, The Sun reported earlier this month.
The footage represents the latest in a series of worrying Chinese developments, including stretching silicone skin over the faces of machines and replacing people with human-like robots at automakers.
The promotional video showed the new set of five robots being mass-produced by Shanghai-based tech startup Agibot.

At the AIDEA Giga Data Factory, technology can be seen doing daily chores including making beds, clearing tables and doing laundry.
Some robots are designed to closely resemble humans and are bipedal, meaning they walk around on two legs.
