Ryan Vickers took his second win of the week at Thruxton to complete a sweep for the OMG GRILLA Yamaha team.

The opening races at Thruxton were contested by the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing Team. Kyle Ryde won the first race of the meeting and Ryan Vickers took the sprint race. The final 20-lap race was the culmination of another fantastic British MotoGP race.

After winning all three races at Brands Hatch, Vickers continued his impressive form at Thruxton. The Yamaha rider finished second on Saturday and took the win in race two. The #7 car took its second win of the weekend in the final race of the weekend.

Once again, Danny Kent came close to winning his first BSB race. With Vickers making a mistake at the final corner, the McAMS Yamaha rider looked set to capitalise. But Vickers held on for the rest of the race, leaving Kent second.

After finishing fifth twice in the previous two races at Thruxton, Billy McConnell jumped up to third in the latest race. The Australian has looked strong all weekend and will get a well-deserved piece of the medals.

Despite winning the opening race of the weekend, Kyle Reid was unable to return to the podium. However, a top-five finish is a good result for Reid’s championship challenge.

Charlie Nesbitt made his first BSB podium at Thruxton last year, but he had a tough weekend this year. The MasterMac Honda rider entered the final lap in fourth place, but was overtaken by Ryde, so he had to settle for fifth.

Tommy Bridewell will continue his quest for a home podium finish until 2025. The current British champion was unable to make it onto the podium this week, but did manage a sixth-place finish in the final race of the weekend.

The MasterMac Honda team finished the final race of the weekend with all seven of its riders taking top seven positions. Lee Jackson finished seventh in his No. 14 Honda.

2024 has been a tough season for the entire FHO Racing team. However, Thruxton was one of their best outings. After finishing fourth earlier, Brooks finished the weekend eighth.

Andrew Irwin was the fifth Honda rider in the top 10 in race three. The #18 car was at the bottom of the standings in the early stages of the race but managed a ninth-place finish in the final race of the weekend.

Leon Haslam’s weekend was a bit of a mixed bag. The ROKiT BMW rider finished in 10th place all weekend and finished the weekend in 10th place.
