John Stamos' wife, Caitlin McHugh, joked that he “went through all the others” before marrying her at age 54 in 2018.
The actress made the bold joke while speaking to Fox News about the longevity of their relationship in an interview published on Tuesday.
“We spend a lot of time together. There's a lot of communication and good things,” McHugh said.
“But really, I wonder if it's just that he's gone through all the others already. I was the last one,” she added with a laugh.
Further commenting on their six-year marriage, McHugh said their union was “long” for Hollywood but not for “real life.”
Stamos, 61, and McHugh, 38, got engaged in 2017 at Disneyland after less than two years of dating.
They welcomed their son Billy in April 2018 after getting married in February of that year.
Before they found their happily ever after, the “Full House” alum dated several famous women and was married to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005.
Stamos was previously romantically linked to Paula Abdul, Terry Copley, Leah Marsh, and Denise Richards.
He also almost dated his “Full House” co-star Lori Loughlin but decided to pursue Romijn instead.
In 2015, Stamos spoke about his past relationship with Abdul, 62, during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.”
“We had a great relationship. We're still good friends,” he told host Andy Cohen. “She's nice, isn't she?”
However, Stamos had very different notes about his relationship with Romijn, 52.
While promoting his 2023 memoir, “If You Had Told Me: A Memoir,” Stamos admitted to People magazine that he “hated her” during their divorce and thought she was “the devil.”
He also admitted on “The Howard Stern Show” that he felt “weakened” in their marriage because she was more successful at the time.
