HOME Depot sells a small, spacious home that can be transformed into anything customers ask of it.
The versatile building can be used as a workspace, pool or main property for those transitioning to micro living.
Priced at $41,699 on Home Depot's website, the Metra Log Cabin Kit from Hud-1 EZ Buildings is a great investment.
It is decorated with handcrafted wood, and comes with European-style double windows and French-style double doors, as well as a vaulted ceiling design.
Not to mention, it has two floors with a loft area.
The main living area is 16 feet by 24 feet, and the loft is 16 feet by 11 feet and nine inches, making the total area 560 square feet.
This is the size of many one-bedroom or studio apartments, and is still spacious enough for an efficient kitchen and dining area on the main floor.
Outside, customers can expect tongue-and-groove roof panels and beige tones on the exterior wood walls.
Flooring materials are also included, and one of the only things interested tiny homeowners will need that Home Depot doesn't provide with purchase is a foundation.
Ceiling panels are also sold separately, along with the plumbing and supplies needed to run the sink and potential bathroom inside.
Internal customization
It's important to note that those who order the $41,699 tiny house get an “open room” layout, meaning “the interior design will be at each individual's discretion.”
This means that if the client wants it to be a workspace, they will customize the interior of the tiny house with the essentials needed for it.
In addition, as a pool house, they will need to purchase supplies for the bedroom, sink, plumbing, etc.
These additions can be made after the space is fully assembled.
While Home Depot customers can order the tiny house for delivery to their door, they can also have it installed and assembled by Hud-1 EZ Buildings if they live in select locations.
Otherwise, they can do it themselves or hire local builders to complete it for them.

More options
Amazon also sells cute tiny homes for about the same price.
The $29,999 two-story option is attracting a lot of attention from shoppers, with some calling the quality “excellent.”
Not only that, but the fully “weatherproof” space is supposed to be assembled for five people in less than 30 minutes.
The e-commerce giant is also selling its cabin kit for just $8,164, which customers describe as “spacious” and “great for family parties.”
It's called the Allwood Escape Cabin and has 108 square feet of space for use as an additional guest bedroom or home office.
Assembly takes a little longer, with sellers recommending four full business days for adults.
However, “minimal tools” are needed to assemble it.
Walmart also sells a tiny house on wheels for $21,888 with a fully equipped bathroom.
Another design from Walmart with floor-to-ceiling windows is just $17,400.
