The search for Zelig Williams continues three months after the Broadway dancer disappeared in a heavily wooded area of his home state of South Carolina.
The 28-year-old dancer, whose credits include Broadway MG Musical and Hamiltonrecently returned to Columbia, South Carolina, where he was living at the home of his mother, Cathy Williams, and working as a dance teacher. His mother was last seen leaving the house on October 3. A day later, his car was found abandoned but intact in a parking lot near Congaree National Park about 20 miles southeast of Colombia.
Despite extensive searches of the wooded area, which includes a river and creeks, by family members, the Richland County Police Department, local volunteers and the national volunteer organization We Are The Essentials, the case remains unsolved.
A new update posted on Facebook by his cousin and family spokesperson Miyuki Corbett Jacobs begins, “The year 2025 has arrived and tomorrow will mark the third month since Zelig Williams left his home heading out with a suitcase in hand…maybe to drop it off or meet up with someone for a while.” “brief.”

The family also noted that Williams may have stopped taking his medications, which were prescribed for his mental health, around the time of his disappearance.
Williams' disappearance made national headlines in October after Hugh Jackman posted a message on Instagram appealing for the public's help in finding him.
