At least 12 people were killed and 30 others injured after a tour bus plunged into a 160-foot gorge.
The tragedy occurred in the early hours of this morning in Pasto, Colombia, on a section of the American Highway.

The bus was carrying 42 passengers, and the victims were taken to hospitals in Tangoa and Ipiales as well as the city of Pasto, NTN24 reported.
The Colombian Traffic Police is still investigating the ages and identities of those involved in the accident.
Maria Constanza García Alecastro, Colombia's Minister of Transport, paid tribute on social media.
“I extend my deepest condolences to the families affected by this tragedy and express my full solidarity on behalf of the national government in these difficult times,” he wrote.
It is believed that the horror was the result of a mechanical failure on the bus.
The car packed with tourists fell into the ravine at kilometer 49 of the Pasto-Rumichaca highway, in Tangua (Nariño).
It is understood he had driven on roads with sharp bends and curves before the accident.
The bus was heading to the famous tourist area of Santuario de las Lajas, in Ipiales, Nariño.
