So don’t expect any new apps or features to appear.

This latest one affects Android at large with 50 security bugs.

One of them has been identified as “critical”.

This particular flaw can reportedly let a hacker bypass some security features on your phone.

Samsung’s M55 budget smartphone was first to receive the update.

Then it rolled out to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, 4, 5, and Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra.

Now it’s time for the S22 models.

As software updates usually go out in stages, the update may not land on your phone immediately.

It can take time to roll out to different countries, as well as networks too.

This includes:

  • Galaxy S22
  • Galaxy S22+
  • S22 Ultra

According to SamMobile, Galaxy S22 users in the US are first on the list.

The update should download automatically when it’s ready for your handset.

But you can always manually check for updates at anytime too.

Just head to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
