Wales in Six Nations: Key questions as Gatland ponders squad

Finally some positive injury news with a rare sighting of a healthy Welsh prostitute.

Elliott Dee's timely return from a lingering ankle injury will be welcomed by Gatland who will be without Dewey Lake, Ryan Elias, Liam Belcher and Evan Daniel.

“It was great to see him out there. He leads with a real competitive edge and has the mentality to play at this level and the next level,” Dragons coach Filo Tiatia said.

Sam Barry, who scored for the Ospreys on Saturday, is the most obvious choice, on paper, but only if he can resolve his differences with Gatland following his exit from the Wales camp last summer.

“Barry is a fantastic set-piece player, whatever happened between them, they put him aside for the best of the team, especially with the injuries,” Hook said.

Elias may be selected for the latter stages of the tournament, along with Cardiff's Ivan Lloyd despite his wayward throw in Perpignan.

Gatland also has concerns about the third knockout behind Henry Thomas and Kieron Asserati.

Archie Griffin, Harry O'Connor and Sam Wainwright are all out and Leon Brown has had to retire, so can the coach remember Six Nations winner Dillon Lewis, as he did on the summer tour?
