CBS analyst Charles Davis took a shot at the Dallas Cowboys as sunlight streamed across the field during the Houston Texans' playoff win.

During the first quarter, sunlight could be seen streaming into Texas Stadium toward the sideline where Los Angeles Chargers players and coaches were standing.

Sunlight had a big impact on the Dallas Cowboys' game against the Philadelphia Eagles earlier this season

In the broadcast, lead commentator Ian Eagle said: “The sunspots have now moved towards the sideline.

“I feel like I just want to contribute some blinds and help them out.”

Then Davis quipped, “You know, I think they make some in Dallas…”

“Yes, that was a problem,” the eagle replied.

“I heard the wide receivers over there get into it,” Davis quipped again.

Dallas Cowboys fans will know exactly what Davis was referring to.

But for those who don't, AT&T Stadium's unique design comes back to haunt them.

The $1.3 billion stadium had major problems with sunlight streaming into the stadium.

The stadium is built oriented east-west with huge large glass windows behind the two end zones – the majority of NFL stadiums are built north-south to avoid sun glare.

Although it is domed and has curtains to prevent glare, it is never closed for rodeo games, although it has been intended for concerts and other events.

Jerry Jones sent a clear message from Jason Kelce after the Sun caused the Dallas Cowboys big problems while crushing the Eagles

Dallas receivers have complained about the situation several times over the years, and earlier this season, sunlight appeared to cost the Cowboys a game.

In Week 10 against the Philadelphia Eagles, Ceedee Lamb completely missed a potential touchdown throw from Cooper Rush.

“I couldn't see the ball,” Lamb said after the game.

“I couldn't see it all at all. The sun.

Lamb was then asked if he was in favor of the use of curtains and he replied that he would be “a thousand percent.”

But Lamb's comments sparked an angry response from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who said: “We know where the damn sun is going to be in our stadium.”

In response to a question about the possibility of closing the curtains, he said: “Well, let’s demolish the damned stadium and build another stadium?

“Are you kidding me? Everyone has the same thing, every team that comes here has the same problems.

“They know where the sun will be. Every team has the same thing.”

Jones later said that the field's sunlight was an advantage for the Cowboys more than ever over the years.
