The CEO of United Airlines Scott Kirby said last Friday that the Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey “cannot deal with the number of aircraft that is scheduled to work there in the coming weeks and months.”
Because of this perceived case, United Airlines decided to cancel 35 flights per day from Newark Airport.
“We feel that there is no other option to protect our customers,” Kirby said in a message to United Airlines passengers.
The Kirby advertisement as an airport observer at NBC News' TOM COSTELLO, “It's not safe.”
He warned, “It is not a safe situation now for the flying audience.”

Newark airport runs about 300 back and forth flights every day, for each company from home.
Kirby has detailed the issues that UNICED Airlines sees in New Jersey Travel Hub.
“The technology on which the FAA air traffic controls failed to manage the coming aircraft inside and outside the Nark Airport, which led to dozens of transferred flights, hundreds of late and canceled flights, and worse, thousands of customers who have disruption plans,” he said.
The CEO said that the air traffic control facility at Newark Airport was “suffering from a shortage of employees for years.”
Kirby claimed that the airport has lost 20 % of air traffic monitors in recent weeks after “leaving the job”.
On Monday morning, Newark Airport released a land station due to a decrease in bishop, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
