“There will be a point when the time comes, but I still think I have a large number of years remaining.”
Steve Clark, Robertson coach in Scotland, Steve Clark, who raised the cup of the cup winners as 34 years in Chelsea in 1998, believes that the captain will face the challenge at the club level and continue to lead his national team.
“If Andy decides to stay and fight for his place, I am sure he will play enough,” he said. “He had to fight hard to get a profession and accordingly.
“I don't see a decrease in it. I see him come here and play well and see it several times for Liverpool and I have not seen any drop.
“Alex Mellish made a great decision when Andy was very small and it was not long before the team to make the captain. When I came, I saw no reason to change this captain and was a great leader in Scotland.”
With the long -term Kenny Dalglish scored only 20 games, do not expect this challenge that Robertson will encourage.
