Perhaps it was waiting for fans Mysterious Between the seasons, mostly due to the difficulties of the Covid-19s, but the level of detail in the animation and the story of the stories that gained the series was nothing to be transferred. Showrunner Christian Linke says that although the team was initially met with setbacks, there is still a campaign to go to more “extremism” creatively for the last season.
Mysterious It focuses on the story between the sixth sisters (Hailee Steinfeld) and Jinx (ELLA Purnell), who soon became involved in a conflict within their ideal society. The second season begins with the sisters on both sides of the conflict, and despite the occurrence of other stories around them, Linke says that the relationship of the sisters has always been in the heart of the plot.

The deadline: Upon reaching the second season, knowing that this will be the last, was there anything specific you want to tell or strengthen from the first season?
Christian Link: Yes, I think many of the personal arches we created, we felt that we need to see their end. It is really related to the relationships between characters. You have the Muslim Brotherhood between Victor and Jays, and you have the brothers between the sixth and Jenx. This is really in his heart. There are many stories that occur with different characters, but in the heart, those were the most important stories.
The question from the beginning was whether it could be the sixth and Jennx sisters again? As for Jayce and VikTor, the question really was what happens when you overlook your dream and are being seduced by power and other people and what they are trying to turn your dream to, and can you find your way to this basic dream? I think about the largest size of the story, these are the ones who really had to diving and answering.
The deadline: I know league of legends It is generally not generally known as a game that relies on the story, so what are these specific characters that made you want to tell their story?

Link: In the first place, it begins to feel the intestine from Jinx and VI is just ridiculous. It was great, and there was a situation and was also not a typical fictional video game characters. There was something else about them and I think they really added interesting questions. As players, we played these characters for many years and always wondered what happened between them as sisters. This is a great story to explore.
For Jayce and VikTor, there was always this question about whether these two people are working together on this technology and come from these different angles. One of the utopianism is a little more, like reaching the sky, which is Jais. Like brighter, better tomorrow. VikTor is much more about the fact that there are people like me who broke bodies, broken souls, and we can fix them. It is a different approach and when technology becomes real, it will go in different ways. Therefore, I think there are always these differences that I felt were a great promise to a story and this is what inspired us to try to explore it.
The deadline: What is the process of making the story available to people who never played the game, while maintaining reality with the characters that people know?
LinkOn the one hand, there was a personal story, which should be universal. Just this question about these two sisters who need to overcome the shock before they can communicate with anyone. Then the fighting and their capabilities came, because these are very capable warriors, so we had to make sure that feeling accurately for the players. When we think about the game, if you play the sixth and there is a battle, you will go first and may not get it out. Jinx needs to keep it away. She always fights from afar, and if she reaches it, she is toast. But if you can keep the distance for a long time, you will completely destroy you. Therefore, we know this from the definition and the behavior of our players, and this is what we also took Mysterious She truly tried to make it until he felt accurately. There were different levels of originality that we just had to respect us to make sure we were getting it properly.
The deadline: Can you talk a little bit about the animation of this season?
LinkI think a lot of the first season was only proven that we could do this. The second season, we had more confidence to say, well, let's go crazy. If we have an inspiration to do something bold and different, let us do that. Because the first season, until it comes out of it, it is just a theory. Will people love that? We do not know.
The second season had bolder trends with some scenes and artistic trends that we may not feel comfortable doing during the first season, as we did with Victor at the end of the second season. It becomes surreal, abstract and impressionist and pushed very far. I think that came from the place of artistic inspiration that wanders more. Certainly with Warwick, we had some direct terror in some scenes, so I think going to the extreme is something we wanted to do.
