The giant Eagle Store at the Parkway Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania will be closed forever on June 28, after more than 40 years.
Since the Parkway Center Mall was closed in 2013, the supermarket was one of the few signs that survive the complex.

With the settlement of the commercial and decomposition center for a long time, the departure of the supermarket will leave another vacant site on the site.
“Once the shelves are clear the next A local population referred to the door.
The pharmacy inside the store was also set on the shutter, and it will stop filling the recipes after May 21.
The loss of the pharmacy will disrupt health care procedures for many elderly and chronic patients in the region.
However, a member of the Pittsburgh Teresa Keel Smith, whose area includes the Parkway Center website, was optimistic about the capabilities of the site.
“My children grew up working here, entertainment here, and many people have done in this region,” she said.
“This is just a great site; it's a golden mine here,” she explained after meeting with the owner of the property Cortis Kosman.
According to Kail-Smith, Kossman was not more committed to site redevelopment.
Possible plans include new commercial or housing projects designed to meet the needs of society.
“I just mentioned that there is another grocery that is also interested, and may still be a giant eagle, I do not know,” Kail-Smith shared.
According to what was reported, the talks with national retail dealers were ongoing, and Kail-SMTH hopes to announce concrete plans within a few weeks.
One shopping said: “You always like to see something happening with anything, otherwise we have the center of Century III.”
Meanwhile, the store will continue to run full groceries until the official closing date on June 28.
Transfers are provided to employees to the nearby giant eagle sites, although some job losses are inevitable.
GIANT EAGLE issued a statement confirming its commitment to the comfort of customers during the move.
The company said: “We are appreciating the loyalty of our customers over the past four decades and we will work to ensure a smooth transfer of services to our other local stores.”
Meanwhile, Rite Aid is preparing to close a large number of sites this month after it is submitted for bankruptcy for the second time.
