Best Buy promises ‘investigation’ as shopper still missing $5k order and customer fumes ‘thanks for ruining Christmas’

A BEST Buy shopper slammed the chain for “ruining Christmas” because she's still waiting on her $5,000 holiday order.

The angry customer even accused the brand's employees of “lying” to her about the mix-up.

Named only as Chelle, the homeowner used her X account to file a complaint.

“Thank you @BestBuy for ruining Christmas,” she wrote.

“I spent more than five thousand.”

Chill claimed she was told that most of her orders were out of stock.

It was then allegedly supposed to be ordered to her local store in West Virginia.

But she claimed delivery confusion led to her being sent to a branch in neighboring Virginia instead.

To make matters worse, her tweets also revealed that her husband is currently being treated for an aggressive form of bone cancer, adding even more stress to the holiday season.

The mess with Best Buy appears to have been the straw that broke the camel's back for Shell.

She added: “[I] Called customer service twice.

[I] He asked to be promoted to manager.

“One hung up, the other lied.”

Chell did not explain the nature of this alleged lie, but he seemed very disappointed.

However, the official Best Buy

“Hi Chell, thanks for reaching out to us here on X,” the statement read.

“Your delivery being late is never a great feeling, so I can understand your disappointment.

“I would be happy to investigate this issue and assist in any way I can.

“To start, can you send me a direct message with your full name, phone number and email?”

The letter was signed by a customer service employee named Aaron.

But the next day, he tweeted again to inform Chell that he would be on leave and therefore unable to provide further assistance.

“I wanted to let you know that I'm about to leave the office for a few days,” Aaron added.

“If I respond and need help, one of my colleagues will be happy to help.”
