“I watched the game again last week and walked a lot of that game.
“I wasn't really good, I hadn't many posts – maybe my third professional game was.
“I wanted to look at what the atmosphere was, how I was a player after that, how it changed and improved, and took it as an experience because I know within a few weeks to come.”
Skelton, who moved to La Rochelle from Saracens in 2020, is the only player abroad in the Australian squad to warm up against Viji on July 6.
Skelton, which is 6 feet length, 8 feet and weight of approximately 23 stone, stands whether his strength may be a means of Woodes to reach the top of the black package forward.
“I will just try to be myself,” he added.
“They have some great players, but we also have some weapons in this team.
