Outlander, writer and artist Kahlil Gibran and Pert's Mining Heritage are often not mentioned in the media conference itself.
But Scotland, Pierre Shuiman, is not the one with which the usual interviews were conducted.
It seems that the striker born in South Africa is one of the most philosophical members in the British and Irish black and Irish band wandering in Australia this summer.
The 31 -year -old is one of eight players born outside the British islands and Ireland at the Andy Farrell concert.
“If you are good enough to play for your country, you are good enough to play with black and you have been chosen, it is clear that you will do that,” said Shuimane, who has 42 Scotland hats after qualifying through residency.
“Scotland is home to us, my wife and I and other players too. You are adopting it, you take it completely.
“It is like Outlander. You move to a different country and now this is your home. You live there. You buy culture and now to represent the British and Irish lions, you are completely buying it, and you are completely overwhelmed with it.
“Nothing matters, not your past, not the future, it is about now.
“Kahlil Gibran says that in one of his books well and that is,” yesterday he went forever, tomorrow it might never come, it's time to live. “
“This is what you do as black. It is about the tour now – that's really matters.”
