Exclusive: once again Producer Fortfeit Pictures is only employed for Blake Gregory from Laughs for the audio section.
The veteran Gregory was appointed to the Canadian comedy director of production at Soundite Sounds, where he worked alongside Talent Zoe Rabnett and reports to the fake partner Anton Leo. This role is new, and Gregory will focus on expanding the presence of the production house in the sound space.
The plan is to take advantage of the fake TV experience creating opportunities for the reserve comedy to create a dedicated audio and produce and accompanying video content.
This comes shortly after the forgery is headquarters countrysideand once again and Office engine Juno Award for Best Comedy album for Debra Digiovanni Standup Supervisor intentions.
Fake voices were launched in 2023, and since then Canadian cartoon albums such as Howe Mandel, Robby Hoffman, Darcy & Jer, DJ Demers and Derek Edwards have been launched, and launched Audible PodCast Benefits with friendsHosted by Mai Martin and Sabrina Gels.
Gregory was formerly director of sound and television at Montreal's Just for Laughs, who is preparing to re -launch her comedy festival in July after her bankruptcy in 2024.
On the TV front, the veteran worked in industry for 15 years with the likes of Trevor Noah, Sarah Silverman and Seth Rogen.
“Blake is one of the most prominent treasure experts in Canada when it comes next to the sound in comedy,” said Dan Bennett, the imitated partner. “He has a busy record in building and managing successful stickers, and we are very excited to make him bring his talents and energy to fake sounds.”
