Scott Gardner, 33, was accused of the hard -to -kill of a child and a child causing great physical damage to the death of his 18 -month -old son, Sebastian Gardner
A 18 -month -old boy died tragicly after he left in a vibrant vehicle for several hours, while his father was claimed time to have a haircut and get half a liter in a nearby bar in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Scott Gardner was arrested on June 19 and was charged with unintentional murder of the child and the child who caused great physical harm, due to the widespread incident that occurred on June 6.
According to a joint investigation from the Volusia County County Office and the Ormond Beach Police Department, Gardner, 33, his young son, Sebastian Gardner, left alone in the back seat of the Beck App truck around 11:30 am
The windows of the car had decreased, and the only source of air rotation was a small battery fan targeting the child. Investigators said that there was no air conditioning during the time when the child was inside the car.

After the truck stood, it was claimed that Gardner appeared in classic pieces because of a haircut and later wandered at the Hanki Banke hall, a nearby pub, where he stayed for several hours. CCTV shots and witness data indicate that he was in the bar of the back to at least 2 pm, and during that time he repeated multiple alcohol drinks.
During his period in the pub, a non -relevant incident abroad, which included a damaged car Gardner, pushed out for a short period. The authorities say he examined the damage to a waiter, but he did not check his son in the truck before returning inside for more drinks.
It was not until around 2:40 pm that Gardner left the bar and drove a short distance to the house. Upon his arrival, he called the number 911 and mentioned that his son was not breathing. In an emergency invitation recording, Gardner can hear, saying fiercely, “My son does not breathe. A year and a half. Oh my God. His eyes were open.”
Sherif Mike Chitwood said that the emergency team from the Ormond Beach Police Department arrived quickly but could not do anything in favor of Sebastian Little Sebastian, who was already harsh with the strict Mortis – a dark indicator that he died for hours. The death of the child was announced in the hospital at 3:30 pm
Medical employees have reported that Sebastian's body temperature exceeded 41 ° C at arrival, indicating that the temperature inside the car has reached about 43 degrees Celsius. The investigators later concluded that the child was left alone in the hot car for more than three hours.
After the death of Sebastian, Gardner gave inconsistent and engaged accounts to the investigators before the end was recognized. The authorities also stated that after reporting the death of his son, Gardner returned to the Hanki Banke hall with his mother and stayed there until almost midnight. The witnesses in the bar in the investigators that Gardner and his mother did not appear clearly, which they described as circumstances in view of the circumstances.
Investigators believe that Gardner's mother may not have been aware of the death of her grandson at the time.
According to the police, Scott finally admitted, but only after “gave many false accounts of what happened” on the day his son died, as Sharif's office said.
At a deeply charged press conference, Sharif Chitwood Gardner criticized, describing him as a “lying bag of ***” and explaining firmly, “There is no logical cause behind the death of this little man. This was not a tragic mistake – this was intended.”
He pointed out, “We have seen cases in which parents really forget, and they are destroyed. But this … this was different,” with a focus on Gardner's danger.
The investigation is still ongoing with the authorities continuing to review monitoring clips, meet witnesses, and collect evidence related to the events of that day.
