David Levy leaves his position as CNN CEO around the world and will return to the father Warner Bruce Discovery.
Mark Thompson, Chairman and CEO of CNN, wrote that Levy “decided to return to a role in Discovery Warner Bruce in the coming weeks.”
Leavy has served as director of operations over the past two years, after he previously held the position of chief corporate affairs officials in WBD.

Tomson wrote in a memo to the employees: “David has fallen in love with CNN from the moment he entered, supported, our press and our great mark since then,” Tomson wrote in a memo to the employees. “It has always been a voice of change and confidence in the future.”
Thompson wrote that Leavy “will spend next month or so to ensure a smooth transition.” Levy wrote in a separate memo that his last day will be at the end of June.
