Cleaning the courtyard “easy” and can be done using “home basics”, according to Sam Williams, DIY expert at SGS Engineering, who shared his most important advice to get the best results
DIY expert revealed the “simple” and “most effective” methods to clean the paving panels using only “home basics”. “You do not need any luxury products to clean the courtyard and one of the most effective cleaning breakfasts is the use of liquid and warm water,” said Sam Williams, a DIY specialist at SGS Engineering.
“All you have to do is drop a tablespoon of washing the liquid in a bucket of warm water to make a soap solution, pour it over the courtyard, then rub it with a solid brush.” Sam suggested cleaning in a diagonal style because this is less likely to cause any damage to the stone.

For any stubborn spots or black spots on the yard or corridor, white vinegar is an excellent choice, according to Express reports. Although it should be avoided on certain types of paving panels, such as limestone, its acid content is great in getting rid of stains.
Sam explained: “Combining water and white vinegar in a 1: 1 bucket, poured the solution on your courtyard and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour.
“Rinse it away with your Hosepepe. Instead, baking soda is another great choice if you don't have any vinegar.
If you have a pressure washing machine, this can accelerate the process, although caution is recommended when setting the pressure of the device. The expert warns that strong water planes can cause harm if they are not used with caution, and therefore it is recommended to explore other cleaning methods first.
If you are still keen to use a pressure washing machine, the expert suggests clearing any furniture before starting from the upper corner of the yard. Keep an angle of 30 degrees with the device and sprinkle diagonally across the yard, while keeping a safe distance to prevent the panels from damage.
“One of the advantage of choosing a yard over decorating is that it usually requires cleaning only once a year. However, with a little regular maintenance, you can make sure it looks primitive throughout the year.
“There is an easy -to -use advice to reach your courtyard, especially during the fall months.” This should stop the broken leaves of accumulation and lead to stubborn color change spots by spring.
“You may also want to think about applying the dilapidation inhibitor. This helps prevent weathering and is also effective in maintaining the color of the courtyard.
