Citizens in Israel reported that they are shocking from the earthquake, especially in the center of the country, including Tel Aviv, according to Al -Quds Post.
“The main feature of this strong tremor is that its focal depth was at 60 kilometers,” Evithimius Likas, head of the Earthquake and Protection Organization in Greece, told the Greek broadcaster.
“This means that seismic waves have reached Kasos and Karpathos greatly weak – and even more on Crete – which led to, according to the initial data and the first accounts of the population, in any effects not yet reported, although we do not of course have a full picture.”
He added: “I felt strongly across Crete, as well as in Rhodes, Kos and all over the southeast of the Aegean Sea.”

More than 624,000 people are staying on Crete, with about a third of the island's population living in the capital, Herachlion.
The region is located in one of the most active areas of seismic aspects in Europe, where African and Oracle tectonic panels meet.
It is generally believed that any earthquake more than 6.0 can cause damage if it hit a populated area.
