Hamas said on Sunday that Edin Alexander, the last American hostage in Gaza, is scheduled to be released after recent talks with the United States to satisfy President Trump and move forward in a broader ceasefire deal.
The terrorist group said it was ready to liberate Alexander, 21 Israeli -American citizens from New Jersey, as part of “new intensive efforts to achieve open border crossings, and allow humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.”
Hamas agreed to liberate Alexander after the mediators confirmed that the release of the Americans “will come a long way” to curb the Trump interest and help end the war in Gaza.
