Netflix and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms Ltd.

The collection currently includes a chain without a title in the advanced stages of development.

This partnership will include Balaji Telefilms, including Balaji Motion Pictures and Balaji Telefilms Digital. Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor Balaji Telefilms founded in 1994.

Balaji and Netflix previously collaborated with several titles, including Cathal, Baglit, Jean Jean and Dolly Kitty Ur Wah Chamac.

Indian product Kapoor is known for writing and creating titles like Parineetiiand Pierre Ki Rahin and Bahajia Lakshmi.

“EKTA was the power to form Indian entertainment with unforgettable stories and characters that reached pop culture, even before the retail marks,” said Monica Shergean, Vice President of Netflix India. “It was distinguished by its creative instinct and its deep understanding of the public's pulse constantly in shaping what India has chosen to watch and love for more than two decades.
