Ex-snooker champion Graeme Dott charged with child sex offences

Grimm dot was accused of former world champion of sexual crimes of children.

The 47 -year -old Scot, who won the world title in 2006, faces historical accusations related to two children who understand that they are about 10 years old at the time.

Prosecutors claim that the first attack occurred in the Glasgow region between 1993 and 1996.

The second charge relates to an alleged attack between 2006 and 2010.

Like Dott, from Larkhall, South Lanarkshire, separately in court on Monday, with another session on June 11.

He was scheduled to play qualified matches this week, and he was now suspended by the World Government Authority in Snooker, WPBSA.

In a statement, he said, “Grame Dott has been suspended by WPBSA because of a case to be heard before the Supreme Court of Scotland.

“While the court's procedures are continuing, it will be inappropriate for WPBSA to provide any other comment.”
