Manchester City City Director Pep Guardiola criticized the balls used in the England Cup competitions.

His comments follow the comments of Arsenal coach Michel Arteta, who mocked him earlier this season when he expressed his anger at the ball he used in the Carabao Cup after a defeat against Newcastle in the semi -finals.

City was 3-1 winners of the FA Cup against Pleimouth on Saturday, but he won 20 rounds of goal in the match.

Guardiola said he was not happy with Miter's balls used in the FA Cup.

“The ball in the Champions League is exceptional, and the English Premier League ball is exceptional, this is not,” he said. “It is difficult to control.

“When you lose it [sounds like] You complain, but the ball is not correct. In many years, this happened in the FA Cup and the Carabau Cup, and I know it is a business and come to agreements.

“You know how many shots have moved? Look at other games. The ball usually goes inward from these shots.”

Nike balls are used in the Premier League, with Adidas balls in European UEFA competitions, and Puma Balls for the EFL Cup.

In response to Guardiola's comments, a spokesman for the Football Association said: “Miter's Ultimax Pro Ball – used in the UAE FA Cup and all other federation competitions – according to FIFA test.

“All footballs in the professional game must meet the accreditation of FIFA Quality Pro, and this ball provides all test requirements.

“Besides Mitri, we understand that the preference is personal, but we are confident that the ball is working well. With more than 350 goals in the knockout competition so far, it provides an exciting element for such a competitive tournament.”

The three goals of the city came in the FA Cup match on Saturday from 29 rounds, including nine on the goal.

In their 4-0 victory over Newcastle United on February 15, the Guardiola team won 11 rounds with seven rounds on the goal.
