The body of an elderly woman from water was recovered off the coast of Scotland after she was subjected to a fatal fall from Jarf. Rescue boats and helicopter were launched as part of the search
A 70 -year -old woman died tragicly after she declined from Jurf in Chitland today.
Emergency services, including Scotland Police and HM Coastguard, a 900 -rescue helicopter, a survival boat, a fire and Scottish rescue boat from Somburg, have been reduced to the scene of the accident around 1 pm, according to BBC.
The elderly woman fell from Jurf near the island of St. Nenean, and she was unfortunately died at the scene of the accident. Her family was informed. The authorities stated that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the accident and a report will be sent to the procurator finance.

Chris Seyle, the chief inspector in Scotland, confirmed: “around one o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, May 23, 2025, we were summoned to a report on a woman who fell from Jurf near St. Ninyan Island, Chitland. I attended emergency services and a 70 -year -old woman was expressed.
Saint Neenian Island is a small island linked to the largest Thomulu in the United Kingdom, southwestern coast of the main righteousness, Chitland, in Scotland. ST Ninian's is one of the finest sandy Tombolos in Europe, and is the largest active in the UK.

In a separate incident on Wednesday, a man sank tragically after calling for emergency services to a beauty place in Scotland. Police, fire engines and ambulances rushed to the Devil pulpit at Stirlingshire at approximately 1:30 pm on May 21, after reports of concern about an individual, according to the daily record reports.
The mountain rescue team also helped emergency services, but unfortunately, the man announced his death at the scene, there are no suspicious conditions and a report will be submitted to the financial prosecutor. All methods that have been closed before the accident have now been reopened.
A Power spokesman revealed: “At about 1.30 pm on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, we received a report on a source of concern for a person at Finnich Glen, Stiringshire. Emergency services, including the Scottish fire and rescue service and a mountain rescue team, and attended the body of a man of water in Pulpit.
“His death was announced at the scene. There are no suspicious conditions and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. CROFTAMIE has been closed to Finnich Toll and B834 at the intersection to the A81 to allow access to emergency services. The roads have been reopened since then.”
