A group of brave righteous Samaritans are welcomed as heroes after their intervention to save a woman and two young children, which could have been a devastating situation outside the Jacksonville office, Florida, in the vehicle section.
The accident occurred on March 12 at the doma of DMV on North Mine Street.
According to the Jacksonville Sharif office (JSO), witnesses saw a man trying to drive in SUVs while a desperate woman tried to remove her young two children, two years old and 6 months, from the back seat.
Investigators say that the man, who was later identified as 26 -year -old, was driving his car “against the will of women, withdrawing them and one of the children through the parking lot.”
What happened after that was not a great thing.
“More than ten good Samaritans in Jacksonville intervened during a serious situation, they may save the mother and two children from a serious injury or worse,” JSO wrote in a Facebook post describing the accident.
Without hesitation, passers -by rushed, and they were able to pull women and children to safety as the car continues to move.
The man escaped from the scene, but not before the witnesses presented a detailed description and the number of SUV license to 911 sent.
The JSO 6 Labor Officers have used this information, along with observation footage, to determine the human position and arrest him later that day in a nearby shopping center.
He is now facing multiple criminal charges, including abuse of children and wrong imprisonment, as well as battery charges, marijuana possession and resistance officer without violence.
The authorities highlight rapid thinking and courage with a possible tragedy.
“This situation could have ended in the tragedy,” the Post added. “
Sharif's office did not issue the names of those who intervened, but their actions sparked praise from society.
Jacksonville County Office did not return to Fox News immediately to comment.
