Political analyst at Fox News Giano Caldwell has gone for nearly three years without answers to the murder of his younger brother in 2022 in Chicago.
The 18 -year -old Caldwell's brother, Christian Bidon, was one of the two people who were killed, and two others were injured in a shooting on the southern side of Chicago on June 24, 2022, in an attack that was not dedicated to him, according to the Chicago Police Department (CPD).
“It is a tragic thing for my family and I, as a person who was actively looking for answers to the killing of my brother,” Caldwell told Fox News Digital. “And this is what I had not understood for three years until we would be at this particular point. It is shining to know that families like Lee had suffered from these types of things all the time … to be without answers for years, but I must fight for my brother. Simply, I have no choice.”
I told the CPD Fox News Digital that its investigation of Beamon's death was continuing, and no one was in the reservation with regard to deadly shooting starting on Monday.
On June 24, 2022, Bidon's killing was shot at the 11400 mass from South Vinsenz Street, and a 18 -year -old woman left a 31 -year -old man in critical condition and a 25 -year -old woman in a “fair” condition with a leg wound in the leg, according to CPD.
The perpetrator, whose identity was not identified, entered a black sedan and escaped from the scene in the east after the shooting, according to CPD.
There have been no other updates in the case since June 2022.
The Payon case appeared on Monday evening on the movie “The most wanted in America” with host John Walsh, who analyzed his 6 -year -old son Adam Walsh, and since then, he has devoted his life to helping other families to justice.
“I mean, this is what is going on in Chicago,” Walsh told Fox News Digital. “They have these high crazy killing rates, and they are unacceptable. I have made several offers in Chicago, and I am the father of a murdered child. My 6 -year -old son, Adam, has been kidnapped and killed, so I know what a child’s loss. Get justice.
And Walsh added that although the years have passed since Bidoun's death, there is still hope to find his killer.
Caldawil described Walsh as a “legend”.
“I hope there is someone watching [“America’s Most Wanted”] “That was that night or simply knew something about what happened. Maybe they discovered something that helps in my brother's case in investigating his death. I am really grateful and supervised me to be able to share the screen with someone who has been doing this work for decades and devoted his life to her,” he said.
Chicago reached the highest level of 25 years of murders in 2021, when 804 were recorded. Since then, this number fell steadily to 695 murders in 2022, 617 murders in 2023, and 573 murders in 2024. Last year was identified the first time five years ago since Windy recorded the total of the under 600.
“One of the killing is a lot of murder. It is very much, and it is difficult to say that we are moving in the right direction in Chicago when there are still soft policies on the crime that allows and enables criminals to commit more crime,” said Caldwell. “Things such as a non -chasing policy, where the police must contact their supervisor with their foot in a car to obtain permission to follow up on the suspect.”
Walsh agreed that the number of murders in Chicago is still very high although it has decreased since 2021.
The “most required America” host believes that Pion is one of the many teenagers in Chicago who have become “side effects” in gang wars and violent violence; Even many killers do not even know their victims, which is believed to be the case in the killing of Bidoun.
“We have many democratic leaders who only fight this teeth and nails because they are fond of protecting criminals, and because they are very concerned about the rights of the criminal, they forget the rights of victims and the rights of the victims, which can obtain a person like Giano Caldwell-known, a well-known character on the news stage without justice to kill his 18-year-old brother.
Of the 573 recorded murders last year, the CPD office has cleared 319, representing a clearance rate of 51.7 %. The highest since 2019.
“We are closing the cases without arresting the killers,” Lopez said. “Often, we see that the cases are cool because the city was not either a) fully employed by the detective unit or B) puts priority to working with society in time to try to arrest individuals for these easy crimes.”
Walsh said, “He will never read on the Chicago paper that [Caldwell’s] The brother was killed unless he was a correspondent of Fox.
“Side damage to Chicago is catastrophic. But [the shooters] Spray the crowd and have many other people. “This would not have reached the amount of advertising that was accessed if Giano did not know me and did not work with Fox,” he said.
Walsh also indicated that the “Defund Police” movement has “destroyed” Chicago officers with frustration. Retirement has been created with lower rates of retaining young officers in Chicago an ideal storm for employment issues within the department, according to Chicago Sun Times. In addition, an investigation into the Ministry of Justice was found in 2016 that the suicide rate in CPD was 60 % higher than the national average at 22.7 suicide cases per 100,000 officers.
Caldawil has since turned his pain to the Kaldawil Public Safety Institute, which aims to help families such as obtaining justice for their loved ones who died as a result of violent crime.
“The institute revolves around the law and order, it relates to the rights of victims and the protection of victims, but it is eventually related to justice, regardless of what appears to be, whether it is a person who is convicted of mistake or if the individual who should be in prison and must be convicted.”
Caldawil and his brother were two of nine siblings who grew up in Chicago. Fox analyst has repeatedly criticized the soft city policies that allow frequent criminals in the streets.
Born in 2004, Bidon was smaller than siblings and was 18 years old in 2022.
