The body of a young man was poorly burned in the Stone Mountain State Park in Georgia on Saturday morning, and the authorities are now investigating his death.
The officials said that one of the hikers had discovered horrific and anonymously called for 911 to report at about 8:18 am. The Stone Mountain Police Department and the Investigation Office in Georgia said they were working to determine what happened.
The body was found in a rock incision off the track that was struck from the famous walking path in the garden, about 100 yards from the Skyride cable tower, which brings to visitors 825 feet to the top of the Stone Mountain outside Atlanta.
The dead man has not been publicly identified, but the authorities believe that they know who is based on personal things in the scene and left a parked in the area.
NBC News reported that a spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Safety at Stone Mountain said that the autopsy will be carried out on Monday by the medical examiner office in Dikaleb Province.
Stone Mountain Park is described as “the largest high statue in the world”, depicting huge sculptures of Cefferson Davis, Robert E -Lee and Thomas “Stonnol” Jackson. The first statue was completed in 1924 and the last in 1972.
The park photography of the famous Confederation was its share of controversy over the years, as the site of the protests was for and against it.
Earlier this year, a crazy man started with a garden shooter.
The man, the armed with a semi -automatic pistol, sparked a chase inside the site after the tights reported the shooting. As an officer in the garden, he approached the suspect, and according to what was reported, the man asked whether he would shoot him. When the policeman did not, the gunman put the weapon on his head and shot himself.
No other visitors or police were injured in the accident.
GBI postponed questions about the horrific discovery on Saturday to the Stone Mountain Police Department, which did not immediately respond to follow -up inquiries on Sunday.
