This week’s Race F1 Tech Show delves into the world of Formula 1 helmet technology as host Ed Straw speaks to Stefan Cohen, CEO of Bell Helmets, the brand used by 13 of the 20 drivers on the grid.
They discuss how Formula 1 helmets have evolved in recent years in terms of design and materials used, and explain why helmets resemble shoes.
Former Formula 1 technical director Gary Anderson will also be in attendance to discuss how the helmet interacts with the aerodynamics of the car, and will also offer his verdict on Mercedes’ latest upgrade package.
