SPOILER ALERT: This post contains details on Big Brother Season 26, Episode 11, which aired on Thursday, August 8.
Big Brother Season 26 sent shockwaves across the house, leaving the housemates flabbergasted at the power moves of nominated contestant Tucker Des Lauriers and the Head of Household Cedric Hodges.
This week, Des Lauriers, Angela Murray, and Kenney Kelley were up on the block. However, Des Lauriers had the Power of Veto and could pull himself off the block or one of his fellow nominees.
Des Lauriers had suggested he was “bored” with the gameplay and wanted to shake things up and expose one of the housemates with a power at play. He would pull a fellow nominee off the block and have HOH Hodges name the replacement nominee to have them use their power.
Before the Veto Ceremony, Des Lauriers and Hodges agreed to use the veto and name Quinn Martin the replacement nominee to expose his Deep Fake HOH power, which allows him to hijack the nominations from the current HOH and make them his own.
Des Lauriers used his veto power on Murray and pulled her off the block.
However, Hodges had a different plan for his own game and named Makensy Manbeck the replacement. Manbeck held the power of America’s Veto, which gave her the ability to pull herself off the block and enabled America to choose the replacement nominee.
Des Lauriers felt deeply betrayed by Hodges’s move and sent the house into chaos, openly declaring war between the two.
