THE world’s largest rubber duck is on a tour of the United States – and the next stop might be in your neighborhood.
Measuring over six stories high, the rubber duck is a sight to behold.
Known as Mama Duck, the attraction will next be displayed at Rye Playland theme park in Rye, New York – just 45 minutes outside New York City from August 16-18.
“We are thrilled to feature the Big Duck for our 2nd Annual Duck Days of Summer at Rye Beach,” said Evonne Keeler, Chief Executive Officer of Playland.
“Mama Duck brings her oversized love and joy around the world, and we are excited to have her swim up the Long Island Sound to Playland.
“All weekend, we will feature fun games, giveaways, photo ops, fireworks, and live music.”
The giant rubber duck stands 61 feet tall and weighs 15 tons.
Mama Duck can float in water or stationed on land.
She even has a motto: “The world is her bathtub.”
At times, she’s even joined by a 10-foot-tall duckling named Timmy.
Her recent tour stops included California and North Carolina.
She was also recently seen on the eastern end of Long Island, New York – about three hours from New York City.
Mama Duck provides a family-friendly photo opportunity and plenty of reasons to smile.
Even though her tour is coming to an end soon, you can request Mama Duck to come to an area near you on her website.
The attraction is so popular that there is even merch available for purchase.
Hats, t-shirts, water bottles, and of course, rubber ducks, can all be bought on the attraction’s website.
