CRYSTAL PALACE stopper Sam Johnstone has broken his silence after losing the No1 jersey.
Eagles boss Oliver Glasner has made Dean Henderson his first-choice stopper, with Johnstone given the No32 .
The former West Brom star was only informed on Monday – six days before Palace’s Prem opener at Brentford – and is clearly upset at the decision.
He posted a selfie of him in a Palace training top with the caption “New day new number” and four crying laughing emojis.
Johnstone started last season as Palace No1 but an injury opened the door for Henderson to take over in March.
The blow also cost him a spot in the England squad for Euro 2024.
And it appears Johnston’s number may be up at Palace.
The Daily Mail report that he has been placed on the transfer list at his own request with a price tag of £10million.
Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Wolves, Leicester and Bournemouth have all been linked.
Johnstone is desperate to play first-team football as he tries to force his way back into the Three Lions squad.

Palace signed Henderson for £20m last August as the English stopper looked for regular game time.
And he ultimately managed to oust Johnstone at the ambitious Eagles.
SunSport exclusively revealed Palace are willing to spend big on Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka.
England Under-21 ace Chukwuemeka, 20, could be squeezed out of the first-team picture at Stamford Bridge under new coach Enzo Maresca.
The ex-Aston Villa prospect is looking to play regularly and Palace are waiting for the nod to make an offer for him.
Eagles chiefs would shell out over £20m for Chukwuemeka, as they have been looking for some extra attacking magic since selling Michael Olise to Bayern Munich for £50m last month.
He fits their bill of a rising star who could develop like Olise and Eberechi Eze.
The South London outfit would also take centre-half Trevoh Chalobah, 25, on loan from Chelsea — but are shying away from a £25m permanent deal.
