Currently knee-deep in his first season as a full-time driver, Riggs climbed up the pecking order from his starting position of 16th to win in the No. 38 Ford F-150 for Front Row Motorsports.

Following a customary burnout, an ecstatic Riggs then climbed onto the roof of his truck where he thrust his arms into the air in celebration.

Unfortunately, it seems he was too enthusiastic with his arm thrusts, accidentally dislocating his right shoulder.

Riggs immediately crouched down, clutching his arm before being helped off the roof by his crew.

With one crew member holding him in place, and the other his arm, between them they managed to pop it back into place.

A quick thumbs up from Riggs followed before he resumed celebrating.

After making it to victory lane, Riggs told Fox Sports, “It hurts like a mug but it was worth it.

“It’s not the first time its happened to me but it’s not going to slow me down.”

Riggs’ celebration quickly went viral on X, where fans were quick to weigh in.

“Don’t tell me auto racing isn’t a physical sport,” one joked.

“Victory lane straight to hospital…” said a second.

“This would 10/10 be me. Sciatica would go crazy on top of the car,” added another.

While a fourth commented, “Just when I thought I’ve seen it all.”

Prior to Sunday’s win, Riggs’ series-best finish had been third at both North Wilkesboro Speedway and Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.

The win bumps him up to 15th in the series standings – one clear of the playoff cutoff.

It also means he is now just four wins behind his dad Scott, who had five wins, 26 top tens, and five poles during his Craftsman Truck Series career between 1999 and 2014.

Scott also raced in both the Xfinity Series as well as the Cup Series.

While in the Xfinity Series, he was named both the Rookie of the Year as well as the Most Popular Driver.

The younger Riggs now won’t return to action in the No. 38 until September 19 when the series heads to Bristol Motor Speedway.

There are just six races remaining this season.
