A ‘POTENTIAL homicide’ is being investigated at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
Students were advised to stay in their rooms and shelter in place on Monday night as police investigated a death at Jones College.

Rice University issued a statement on X letting the public know of the death.
The remaining classes were canceled for the day and the shelter-in-place order was lifted an hour later.
Authorities said two bodies were on the scene, local Fox outlet, KRIV News reported.
The investigation is ongoing and police have yet to confirm what occurred on campus.
