Maguire’s bingo night

Harry Maguire left families stunned as he was spotted enjoying some bingo at a Haven holiday park.

The Manchester United and England defender, who earns £190,000 a week, has started both of his club’s games this season.

Maguire, 31, shocked holidaygoers on Sunday evening as he swapped the football pitch for a bingo hall at the park alongside his brother, 27-year-old Laurence, and wife, Fern.

Staying at the park costs from £82 per night.

Ugarte vs Liverpool?

Man Utd are confident they will register the signing of Manuel Ugarte by midday tomorrow, according to reports.

If they meet the deadline, the midfielder will be able to play against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Mount set to be OUT for over a month

Manchester United have confirmed that Mason Mount has picked up an injury.

The midfielder is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a hamstring injury.

Mount, 25, started both games for the Red Devils this season as he looked to finally make his mark.

He arrived at Old Trafford last summer in a £60million transfer from Chelsea.

However, his debut campaign did not go well as he only featured 14 times in the Premier League as he dealt with multiple injury issues.

Mount is now set to miss a number of weeks for Erik ten Hag due to his hamstring injury he picked up against Brighton.

He said in a statement: “During the last game I picked up a minor muscle issue.

“I’ve had it checked and it looks like I’ll be out for a few games. Leading up to and during pre-season, I worked hard to get my fitness back to where it needs to be and I felt re-energised, sharp and ready.

“I wanted you to hear it directly from me how frustrated I am, as I expect you are too.

“I will do everything possible to be back in the best shape and help the team.”

Weghorst joins Ajax

Former Manchester United striker Wout Weghorst has signed for Ajax.

The Dutchman has left Burnley and signed a two-year contract at his homeland club.

Weghorst spent last season away from Turf Moor at German side Hoffenheim.

No Sancho return

Jadon Sancho will not be returning to Borussia Dortmund this month.

Club officials have dismissed reports linking them with a move for the Manchester United winger as “nonsense”, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

There had been claims this week that Sancho could be involved in a swap deal that would see Donyell Malen move to Old Trafford.

The United star previously returned to Dortmund on loan for the second half of last season.

United pair for Carsley

Lee Carsley has named two Manchester United players in his first England squad.

The Three Lions face Ireland and Finland in the Nations League next month.

New interim boss Carsley has included both Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire in his 26-man squad for the matches.
