A BEAUTY fanatic has revealed the drugstore eyeshadow palette that’s miles above the rest and even better than luxury brands.

She gushed that the $10 buy is easy to blend and has a “super soft” texture in comparison to other makeup.

She shared her opinion on popular beauty brands on Reddit’s Drugstore MUA forum, which has 178,000 members.

“I’ve tried a lot of different eyeshadow brands at different price points, and, for me, Colourpop is 100% the best option,” she said, writing under the handle Motherofcrabs.

“I’ve found most drugstore eyeshadows to be pretty dry, which means that they don’t blend as nicely.

“Covergirl, Wet n Wild, and NYX all fall into this category.”

The Redditor complained that NYX is “really expensive” for a drugstore brand.

Many people rave about E.l.f because it’s affordable and functional.

However, she thinks it is “unexceptional” and doesn’t compare to high-end makeup brands.

“Ulta Beauty’s eyeshadows are a good, solid option,” she said.

“They’re better than the previous brands, but not as good as BH or Colourpop.

“I’m not sure if BH Cosmetics is technically drugstore, but their price point is.

“I haven’t bought from them since Revolution bought them out, so I can’t vouch for their current quality, but they’ve been great in the past.

“Very bright, pigmented colors.”

She said Colourpop is her “absolute favorite” eyeshadow brand despite having some fallout.

“They’re super soft and blendable, and they come in just about any color you can imagine,” she said.

“I actually prefer Colourpop to the $70 palettes I’ve bought from Huda Beauty and Natasha Denona.

“The shimmers aren’t as pretty and textured, but I find that Colourpop’s matte shades are nicer to blend.”

Colourpop’s Going Coconuts eyeshadow palette is currently reduced from $14 to $9.80 on the brand’s website.

It includes nine “highly pigmented” shades, ranging from “creamy vanilla with silver pinpoints” to “deep umber.”

According to the brand, the color appears boldest when applied to the eyes using a flat and firm brush.

Delighted customers have given it a perfect 5-star rating and penned glowing reviews.

“I love that Colourpop is still so affordable these days,” one shopper said.

“Everything is top-tier makeup too. I have been wanting a staple brown/neutral eyeshadow pallet and I landed on this one.

“It’s was this one or the ‘that’s taupe ‘ one or whatever it’s called. The shadows are all creamy, even the mattes.

“They blend great and last on my eye. I love it.”

Another person praised the versatile range of colors in the palette.

“The shades of this palette are so pretty and blend together super well,” they said,

“Perfect neutral palette for everyday use that’s balanced between light/dark shades and matte/shimmers.”
