Brady made his broadcast debut on Fox calling the Browns-Cowboys game, but he got warmed up earlier in the day with the Fox NFL Sunday crew.

He made an appearance to break down the game he would be calling later in the day, but the team seemed more interested in him than in the game.

Michael Strahan shared how excited he was to see Brady calling games.

“Well you know what? I think we made the right decision because we got you calling this game man,” Strahan said.

“You’re with us here at Fox. No one handles pressure more than you, no one prepares more than you, no one has shown the results of that just in your football career.

“But now you’re talking about football, you’re talking about the game, talking about the players, a nation audience is going to be watching.

“No more rehearsals because we know you did all the work behind the scenes, how you feeling right now?”

Brady got a good smile out of the talk with Strahan, and shared that he was ready for action.

“Dude I’m done with all the rehearsals, thank god,” Brady said.

“I had more times in a dark closet in LA. I’m so happy to be here in Cleveland.”

Brady is working on his first game as a broadcaster, but some fans think he still has some kinks to work out in his speech.

“I don’t want to overreact to week 1 but Tom Brady is the worst announcer in the NFL,” one fan said.

“I’ve heard enough of Tom Brady, justice for Greg Olsen,” another fan said.

“Tom Brady does not have a voice for this,” a third fan said.

Brady has a long career in broadcasting yet to come, as he signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox.

He is only in first game, and will have plenty of time to grow into his voice with broadcast partner Kevin Burkhardt.
