Emily Blunt said she wants her husband John Krasinski's cover of “Sexiest Man Alive” to be turned into wallpaper for her home.
During the “Office” alum's interview with the magazine, his wife joked that she would cover their house with his wallpaper if he were named “Sexiest Man Alive” this year.
“Do we have that on camera? Because that's like a binding contract, I guess,” said the actor — who shares daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, with Blunt.
“My kids will love it, and it won’t be weird at all.”
Late Tuesday night, Krasinski, 45, was named People Magazine's “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2024 during “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
The “A Quiet Place” star initially thought he was being a “punk” when he learned he had won the title.
“Just an immediate disconnect from reality. No thoughts,” he told the outlet in its cover story, adding: “You guys have really raised the bar for me.”
When asked if his new title would change anything in his life, the film director replied: “I think it would make me do it.” more household chores. After this is published, you'll say: Well, that means you're really going to make money here at home.
Blunt, 41, was “very excited” when she heard the big news, Krasinski said.
“There was so much joy when I told her,” he gushed.
The couple tied the knot in July 2010 during a simple ceremony held at George Clooney's home in Lake Como, Italy.
“It's a beautiful thing when you're married to someone, you're constantly learning and changing and evolving,” he told People magazine. “And I'm so lucky to have gone through it all with her.”
The “Devil Wears Prada” actress and the father of two have starred in several films together, including “A Quiet Place,” “A Quiet Place Part II” and the 2024 film “If.”
Krasinski starred in and directed all three films.
“I had to demo the studio 54 times [for ‘A Quiet Place’] “Before they said yes,” he told the magazine.
“I'm sure someone said, 'Aw, is Jim from 'The Office' going to direct this?'” And I said, “Oh, it's John, but we'll get there.”
