A woman who was watching TV at home was shocked when she saw her living room on TV.
Stephanie D'Agostini, 29, was watching Showtime's “Couples Therapy” last weekend (November 9).
The reality TV show follows couples on a 20-week treatment program with Dr. Orna Guralnik.
While she was scrolling on her phone, Stephanie looked up and noticed similar things like her refrigerator and the sticker on her electrical box.
As she continued to watch, it quickly became clear that Stephanie was observing a couple who had previously lived in her apartment.
She was later proven correct when one of the show's producers sent her a letter confirming that the couple lived in the building and were likely her exact unit.
“Once I noticed the similarities, I was shocked for a moment and had a lot of questions,” said Stephanie, a comedian based in New York City.
“I randomly looked up and thought 'this freak looks like my refrigerator'”
“I took out my camera to take a video thinking they filmed it in my building, which is really weird.
“And then while I was recording, I noticed that they had the same sticker as me on their break box.
“I have since received a message from a producer from the show confirming to me that it was in fact my building, and quite possibly my unit as well.”
