Jake Paul was victorious over Mike Tyson on Friday night in Netflix and Most Valuable Promotions' (MVP) heavyweight boxing mega event, which is being streamed live globally on the platform.
“The Problem Child” maintained a steady lead against “Iron Mike” at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium, landing 78 strikes to Tyson's 18 over the eight two-minute rounds. Paul threw 278 punches (28%) compared to Tyson's 97 punches (18%).
Friday's bout between Tyson and Paul, kicked off by Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 2 was the biggest boxing wicket outside of Las Vegas in US history, at over $17.8 million. More than 70,000 people attended the match.

Netflix announced the fight in March. The event was scheduled to take place on July 20, but was postponed when Tyson developed an ulcer in May. While the duo was training, Netflix aired the three-part docuseries Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson This month.
At the age of 58, Tyson has 50 victories and six defeats, including 44 by knockout. Friday served as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from 1987 to 1990, and was Tyson's first professional fight since his 2020 bout against Roy Jones Jr., which was declared a draw.
After his early years as a content creator on YouTube and Vine, which also appeared on the Disney Channel, 27-year-old Paul made his professional boxing debut in 2018. With 10 wins and one loss, including seven wins by knockout, Paul broke gate records in Every arena in his career.
