Kim Kardashian has quietly decided to postpone taking her bar exam until early 2026, according to The US Sun exclusively.
The 44-year-old reality TV star has repeatedly talked about her dream of becoming a lawyer like her father, Robert Sr., but she has stopped talking about her studies in recent months.
“Kim was originally planning to take the California bar exam in February 2025, but she postponed it to 2026,” an insider said.
“The truth is that Kim hasn't been able to study much for it yet, and it's not possible that she'll be able to pass the test in February.”
“I barely passed 20% of the coursework.”
The insider explained that Kim was determined to officially become a lawyer before her new legal show, All's Fair, premieres next year.
Kim will play a high-profile divorce attorney in the Ryan Murphy-directed Hulu drama, which is currently filming in Los Angeles, and also stars Glenn Close and Naomi Watts.
But the source said that this goal will not be possible now.
“Kim hates any questions about her pursuit of her legal credentials. She gets angry when anyone asks them.
“She says she's a full-time mother with four kids and a business empire, so of course it's going to take a little longer.
“But she's also determined to get the damned law degree to her name.
“She's so stubborn about things like this, it's impossible to say she doesn't get it.”
An insider close to Kim denied that she delayed her bar exam.
Legal dreams
Kim's legal studies have been frequently covered on her Hulu reality show, The Kardashians.
In early 2021, she claimed she was studying over ten hours a day for her baby bar.
“The hardest thing for me is being away from the children, but I have to dedicate myself and do it,” she said.
She passed the children's bar later that year after failing three times previously.
Kim announced on Instagram: “OMFGGGG I PASSED THE BABY BAR TEST!!!!
A quick look at Kim's business empire
SKIMS is just one part of Kim Kardashian's multi-million dollar business empire. The reality TV star makes money through several jobs.
The Kardashians on Hulu – 2022-present
SKIMS – a lingerie, sleepwear and shapewear brand founded in June 2019
SKKN – skincare and makeup line
Kim has also worked on the series American Horror Story, and has received endorsements from several companies, making her net worth just over $1 billion.
“Looking in the mirror, I'm really proud of the woman looking back today at her reflection.”
“For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know that this wasn’t easy or easy for me.
“I failed this exam 3 times in two years, but I came back each time, studied harder and tried again until I passed!”
Sorcery acts
In addition to her acting work and future legal career, Kim remains the founder, CEO, and model for SKIMS, her global clothing and lingerie brand, and her skincare line SKKN.
She's also, of course, still the star and executive producer of The Kardashians.
On top of all that, she also co-founded the private equity firm Skky Partners.
Kim is a single mother to her four children with ex Kanye West: North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
She recently said she is raising them largely on her own without her troubled ex-husband, with the help of friends and nannies.
