Cynthia Erivo has her answer to Dax Shepard's “inappropriate” question about how to maintain proper hygiene with very long nails.

“Can I ask you a really crazy and inappropriate question?” Shepard asked during Monday's episode of his podcast, “The Chair Expert.”

“When you wipe your ass…,” Shepard continued, before the “Wicked” star chimed in, “I knew you were going to ask that question.”

“My answer is that no one just uses their fingers to wipe their butt,” Erivo told the comedian during his “Armchair Expert” podcast episode.

“My answer is that no one just uses their fingers to wipe their butt,” the 37-year-old actress explained. “You're using tissues, aren't you? And you're wiping!”

However, Shepherd, 49, continued to press Erivo about putting toilet paper on her hand, asking her if she was using “nail tips.”

In response, Erivo explained that she uses “finger pads.”

The comedian went on to ask the “Harriet” star if she sometimes feels “a little tickle from the nails on the crack” of her butt.

“No, because the tissue is there!” Erivo clapped again.

When I asked Shepherd if she was “offended” by the question, she admitted she was more “offended” because she is a “working adult” and never “walked around smelling….”

The London-born artist also defended herself against others who also questioned how she could get anything done with her long nails.

“I'm like, I mean, I'm here!” “I'm getting dressed,” she said, adding.

Erivo's nails were an eye-catching part of her red carpet look during the “Wicked” press tour, where she posed alongside superstar Ariana Grande.

Grammy Award-winning nail artist Mycah Dior recently shared close-up photos on Instagram of custom art inspired by the highly anticipated film created with the OPI x Wicked Nail Lacquer Collection.

Dior spoke to Bustle about Erivo's extravagant manicure for its New York City premiere in an interview published last Thursday.

“This whimsical collection is inspired by the movie Wicked, of course, and brings the worlds of Elphaba and Glinda to life,” Dior said of her client's nail design at the premiere.

“Green and pink embody their contrasting personalities, with Elphaba's vibrant green skin and Glinda's soft and light aura,” Dior continued.

“Every detail adds to the charming and whimsical feel of this set – it took about four hours to create.”

Erivo plays Elphaba and Grande plays Glinda in the Jon M. Chu-directed film, which will be released on November 22.
