Exclusive: Sugar23 has named Alec Stern vp of production for film and television, and promoted Jacob Snyder to literary director.

In his new role, Stern will enhance Sugar23's focus on developing impactful content. He brings with him a wide range of experience from previous roles at Paramount Television Studios, Anonymous Content, FX and WME. Most recently, he served as Director of Original Content at Paramount+, following his position as Director of Development at Paramount Television Studios. At Paramount, he played a key role in the development and production of landmark series including the offer, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Fatal attractionand Rabbit hole.

Snyder began his career at UTA before joining Sugar23 and quickly established himself as a rising talent. Moving forward, he will continue to mentor a dynamic roster of clients across the literary and talent departments, including Kylie Spaeny (Priscilla), Diane Lin (The perfect storm), Jeremy Strong (trainee), Alex Akpobumi (industry), Alex Lora (The masterpiece), Andre Anthony (Night agent), Brandon and Curtis Bertell (Ambush), Bu Chang (An unforgiving blade), Jerry Kontogiorgis (Fourth wall), Jonathan Egholm Kiss (Cataracts), Ryan Riley (Reclaim the night), Sam Lerner (The drop, Goldberg), Tyler Stevens and Wade Stanton (springy).
