ESPN will air a Simpsons-themed alternate team for an upcoming Monday Night Football game.
Last year's Toy Story received rave reviews.
The network broadcast the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Atlanta Falcons game at Wembley Stadium in London, England as if it were played in Andy's room.
ESPN is now applying that concept to basketball on one of the biggest days on the sports calendar.
Christmas is typically a holiday reserved for the NBA and often marks the first time the league appears on free television during the season.
After the Spurs take on the Knicks, the Dallas Mavericks take on the Minnesota Timberwolves at 2:30 p.m. ET.
The NBA champion Boston Celtics take on the Philadelphia 76ers at 5 p.m.
The highlight matchup will see the Golden State Warriors take on the Los Angeles Lakers at 8 p.m. ET.
Events culminate with the Phoenix Suns hosting the Denver Nuggets from 10:30 p.m. ET.
All games are set to air live on free-to-air ABC as well as ESPN.
But ESPN and the NBA face competition from the NFL and Netflix again this year.
How does the NBA Cup work?
The NBA Cup is back for a second season this year, with the Finals once again scheduled to be held in Las Vegas.
The 30 teams have been divided into six groups of five each, with matches taking place on Tuesdays and Fridays from November 12 to December 3.
The six group winners and top two wild cards advance to the quarterfinals on December 10-11.
The final four head to Las Vegas for the semifinals on December 14 and the final on December 17.
All games count toward a team's regular season record, except for the championship game.
The NFL typically schedules Christmas Day games when they fall on a Sunday, Monday, or Thursday.
But the league made the decision to put two games on the holiday even though it is a Wednesday.
The Kansas City Chiefs face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 1 p.m. ET.
The Baltimore Ravens visit the Houston Texans starting at 4:30 PM ET with a special halftime show from Beyoncé.
Both games are streaming worldwide on Netflix.
