So far, it's been pretty good for the Rangers with their four-game road swing on the West Coast, picking up regulation wins over the Kraken and Canucks.

They look to maintain their unbeaten run on Thursday as they take on a superior Calgary Flames team.

The Flames entered the year heavily favored to miss the playoffs for the third straight season with a betting total of 81.5 points.

They significantly outperformed oddsmakers' expectations in posting a 10-6-3 record, holding them to third place in the playoffs outside of the Pacific Division.

It is difficult to say whether Calgary's current operation will continue to produce such strong results.

The goaltending tandem of Dan Vladar and Dustin Wolfe has been surprisingly excellent so far, posting the fourth-best save percentage in the league.

Unlike the Rangers, who rank first in team save percentage, no one expected the Flames tandem to be a force this season.

Over their last 15 games, Calgary is shooting 3.13 shots per 60 and holds an expected goals share of 46.01 percent.

If the Flames' goaltending starts to falter, it should expose their subpar defensive play and lead to much worse results.

The Flames' offensive corps is led by veterans Nazem Kadri and Jonathan Huberdeau, and lacks dynamic offensive talent.

Meanwhile, the Rangers continue to produce tremendous results in the regular season with their combination of elite goaltending talent and accurate finishing year after year.

The offensive upside could get a big boost moving forward if Mika Zibanejad can find his game, and the former 39-goal scorer was excellent in Tuesday's win in Vancouver.

The Rangers are at +105 to win in regulation on Thursday, providing bettors with an excellent price on a fading Flames team that should come back down to earth.
