Oh, my pod.

Apple supporters who bought a pair of expensive new AirPods Max are calling the headphones a “nightmare” — and blaming stubborn Bluetooth connectivity issues and short-lived functionality for their frustration.

“I love Apple but the AirPods Max are the worst things I've ever bought,” one fan said online, while another described the trendy product as “the worst purchase of the year.”

Apple's discussion forums have been filled with input from disgruntled customers voicing complaints against the devices, while users on social media have complained that the $549 over-ear headphones are practically useless.

“@Apple you seriously need to remember these… AirPods Max because they are so bad,” one frustrated person wrote on X. “I'm using my second pair and they still don't work. I'm not the only one complaining about this either. They literally never call.

“Mine connects/disconnects all the time,” another X user complained.

“I know Apple products are designed specifically for this [break] after [a] A few years, but this is 4 months old,” he joked.

“Absolutely hate the constant Bluetooth issues with the #AirPodsProMax,” another person wrote. “Is anyone else experiencing this or is this my fucking fate?”

Some Redditors complained about the fit of the headphones, saying that the headband became stretchy in a short period of time and caused pain or discomfort.

Others claimed that the “tiniest movement” of their heads caused the noise output to stop and the headphones to disconnect as well.

One person claimed to have experienced “audio skipping, poor band connectivity, very loud popping noises at the beginning of videos on one ear” and connectivity issues, despite never harming the product.

People are so fed up with the technical issues that they've vowed to switch to another company's product entirely, ditching their AirPods forever.

“Aaaand my AirPods Max died again. “It worked perfectly for about two weeks and died like a door rat,” one person cried on the X. “Well, I guess I'll switch to my Sony permanently now.”

“The battery life on the Apple Max headphones is a joke bro — other than the noise canceling, these headphones suck. “I literally took my brother's Beat headphones and the battery life is so much better,” another complained.

While Apple did not immediately respond to The Post's request for comment, one customer revealed that he hacked to fix his AirPods Max in a discussion forum.

“After a few frustrating months with the AirPods Max warranty expiring (the sound stopped on the right earbud before I unplugged and reset it; trying a factory reset to no avail; buttons not working; etc.), I think I finally have them in good condition,” they wrote. Working again and wanted to share the steps I used to do.”

The user was advised to reset the AirPods Max by forgetting the headphones in the Bluetooth settings of your personal device – whether it is a smartphone or laptop – and turning off all devices connected to your iCloud.

Next, initiate the factory reset on your AirPods Max by pressing the Noise Control and Digital Crown buttons for 15 seconds, followed by cleaning the headphones appropriately. Then, turn your iCloud devices back on and reset your AirPods Max before trying to connect again.

“Your headphones should now be connected and visible across all devices,” they wrote. “Try playing audio from a connected device.”
