President-elect Donald Trump on Friday announced his picks to lead the Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as his pick to be Surgeon General.

Trump (78 years old) nominated Dr. Marty McCary – a professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine – to serve as Commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. former Congressman Dr. Dave Weldon to head the CDC; and Dr. Janet Nesheiwat — a Fox News medical contributor — to serve as surgeon general.
