FOX NFL Sunday fans are calling for Terry Bradshaw to retire from his live television duties.
After 30 years of service on Fox NFL Sunday, fans are looking for new talent to take over the show.
Bradshaw took over his regular role on Fox NFL Sunday this week, but the fan reception wasn't great.
In recent weeks, fans have noticed Bradshaw flubbing his lines more often.
These fans expressed their frustration on social media during the show.
“@NFLonFOX please get rid of Terry Bradshaw,” one fan said.
“He's the worst person I ever turned to watching on CBS because of.”
In previous weeks, Bradshaw had mistakenly delivered the wrong segments on Fox NFL Sunday.
Bradshaw, 76, realizes his time on the show may soon be over, but he wants to stay as long as possible.
“When that time comes, when they say to me, ‘Happy Trails,’ man, you want to say that will never happen,” he said.
That could come sooner rather than later, as Bradshaw has dealt with health issues in recent years.
Bradshaw was supposed to be on Fox for last year's NFC Championship game but missed it due to illness.
Two years ago he was diagnosed with cancer and lost time to recover.
“I'm out of breath and I'm out of breath [Long] “A lot of people have been helpful asking me what's wrong with me, what happened to me physically, and I just want to process it and tell you what's been going on in my life,” Bradshaw said in 2022.
“In November (2021), I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I went to Yale University Medical Center for treatment, and to date, I am bladder cancer-free.
“Well, that's the good news.”
Bradshaw is cancer-free, but some fans still think it's time for him to retire.
